BARPC

Welcome to the BARPC website which we hope will be of interest to both new visitors and existing members. You will find us a very welcoming club, with our members partaking in Field Target, Hunter Style shoots, CO2 pistols, or just plain plinking at the outdoor range and inside at our venue for 10m pistol and rifles. In addition to those ranges, we have access to Popham Woods every 2 weeks for a Sunday morning informal comp or practice sessions.

Prospective members are welcome to come along to one of our usual meetings at the Walled Garden to have an informal chat about the club and how to apply to join us.  Joining involves a welcome and range induction course which are run a couple times a year. Meanwhile if currently all you want to do is learn more about our club, please feel free to take a look around this website.

Please note that any legal limit, (however NOT firearms certificate - FAC) Airgun is acceptable for use at our club, in addition we do not allow steel or copper BB shot, darts, Prometheus type pellets, or any other ammunition which can rebound. More details can be found in the Range Safety Rules

Club Information

We meet throughout the year at the Walled Garden, East Oakley Village Hall (our 10m indoor pistol / rifle target range) or Popham Woods.  Times and further details are available on the Club Ranges Pages. Visitors are welcome to come along to the Walled Garden or EOVH for an initial viewing and a chat with a view to apply to join our next New Member Welcome and Induction Course

Membership is currently £60.00 per year for an adult member with other rates for juniors and family members. There are no range fees at the walled garden or Popham Woods, however there is a small charge for those using the 10M indoor range and at Popham Woods during regional or special event shoots

Please note, Although Google Maps infers it, Vehicle access CANNOT be gained to the Walled Garden from the Miller & Carter Restaurant or Beechdown Health Club roadway off the Winchester Road (A30)

Club Competitions

Most of the competitions we stage at the grounds are very informal club events, And perhaps some time soon we will be back in a position to occasionally invite guests from other clubs, and once again put on a major competition for a really authentic shoot, run at our facilities in Popham woods. Historically, these events drew shooters from all over the South, from near complete novices to some of the country's best shots. Once other clubs restart their open days, you'll find a hard core of our club members attending these events throughout the year.
