We’ve only gone and done it, oh yes, we’ve won the second division. And by some distance as well.

On the 30^th March we beat Meon 2 at their home ground by 7 points to extend our overall lead by 47.

That’s not all, Darrell Waite endorsed his dominance with an excellent 77 and wins the division by 11. Well done mate.

A special note has to go to Rachel who felt that her situation was starting to affect her shooting, and stood down to allow Nigel back in our team. That’s what I call real team spirit and would earn her team member of the year (if we had such a thing). He didn’t fail her achieving a very respectable 73 by the way.

I unfortunately, did not fare so well and could only drag out 69 points from a truly unmemorable performance. Just to make it better my score was dropped for the first time this season, even Bob beat me by a point. Simon managed 73, how he does it I just have no idea. He was even zeroing his rifle before we left, as he hadn’t touched it for almost a month. 

The awards will be given out at the Oxon Bulldog Bash 15^th June. Please come and support us. And if anybody wants to join the fun later in the year let Bob know. If I reflect back on the winter season my overwhelming feeling is one of pride to represent the club, companionship from my team mates and impatience………..
